 FAQ

Q: I notice Psycholonials was released in several languages. Will other languages be available later?

Psycholonials was written with a global audience in mind. It is currently being translated to several more languages. The hope is to eventually translate to as many as possible.

Q: I see there is a release schedule. Is the story in the process of being created while the chapters are being released?

No. All content was completed well before the first chapter was released.

Q: When was the content made?

The author began writing the script around the date the story begins, April 20th, 2020. He completed the script by the end of May. He then spent the next several months illustrating the story, while revising the script to keep up with events of that year. All content was created by Hussie, except for the music, which was all created by Clark Powell.

Q: Does Psycholonials have anything to do with the author's previous work, Homestuck?

No.

Q: I notice the drawing style looks a little rough. Big pixels mingling with small pixels, artifacts everywhere…

Like most of his previous works, a particular graphic style was adapted for the sake of extreme efficiency. This allowed Psycholonials to be produced at a very rapid rate. Using methods like this is the only way a story with such a large volume of illustrations can be created in a reasonable period of time.

Q: How long is it, and how long did it take to make?

Psycholonials contains about 1000 illustrated pages, 70,000 words, and almost 40 minutes of animation. The vast majority of this content was completed over a period of about four months.

Q: Is streaming or posting Let's Play videos allowed?

Yes. Not only are they allowed, they are encouraged by the author. The only request is that people be mindful of spoiler warnings when publishing such content.
